Augusta Partnership for Children Inc. Logo

I was given the task to rebrand APC (Augusta Partnership for Children Inc.) as part of my senior graphic design class. The challenge here was that it was already a well established brand. APC strives to help children and families in Richmond County, and surrounding communities, grow and flourish together. After thoroughly researching APC and interviewing their executive director, I settled on a buzzword in which I felt was one of their main goals: growth. Following this theme, I designed a logo which portrays a family in the shape of a tree. APC's original branding used very harsh coloring and sharp shapes; for their rebranding, I wanted to indicate soft, naturalistic colors. I used a soft green and darker blue to indicate aspects of nature and growth. The imagery of the brand used shapes with rounded edges and circles to continue the soft theme of the branding.
